No Win, No Fee
We are prepared to take on claims on a no win no fee basis, when we consider that there are reasonable prospects of success, so that we will not charge you for our work if we lose. If you win, we will charge a success fee. We calculate the success fee at a percentage of the basic charges but capped at 25% of the damages and which will be deducted at the conclusion of your claim. This is a contribution for our costs to the extent they are not fully recovered from your opponent.
We will assess whether your claim has reasonable prospects of success in our initial free interview.
If we feel it necessary, we will arrange “after the event” insurance for you to cover your opponent’s costs and your own disbursements, just in case you lose the case. Disbursements include medical experts’ fees and court fees, which we will fund for you during your case. If necessary, we will instruct a barrister who is also prepared to work on a no win no fee basis. The insurance premium is self-insured, so you do not have to pay it if you lose. Payment is deferred until the end of the case.
