Timms Planning & Construction Services
We can draft, negotiate, advise upon and complete a range of planning agreements that may be necessary in order to secure planning permission to allow the site to be developed.
We have experience dealing with all the local authority planning departments in settling planning obligations such as S106 Agreements and Unilateral Obligations. We work opposite the legal teams for regional statutory undertakers responsible for utilities, to secure adoption agreements to service residential and mixed use development sites.
Planning Applications
We can advise on whether or not planning permission, building regulations consent, listed building consent etc. are required for your proposed development. Where an Article 4 Direction impacts on the General Permitted Development Order, we can identify this and advise on the implications.
Where a planning application needs to be made, we can refer you to trusted specialist planning consultants who can run the application on your behalf, if you prefer. Planning applications and appeals are best handled by specialist Town Planners and we have developed strong working relationships with some of the regions most trusted experts.
Planning Implications in Property Acquisition Contracts
Planning law impacts on a number of property promotion or acquisition documents and we can ensure the necessary drafting is in place for land purchase contracts which are conditional on the grant of planning permission or reserved matters approval, or for agreements for lease which are conditional on planning for change of use, signage or fitting out works.
