Divorce - What Work is Covered?

What Work Is Covered?

This package includes the preparation of your application for divorce and all of the documents needed to progress it from the time the application is made to the Court through the various stages to the receipt of the Final Order which brings the marriage to an end, where both you and your former partner agree that there should be a divorce. The package includes the applications to the Court (via the online Family Court portal) and any correspondence with your former partner that is required to progress a straightforward and uncontested (undefended) divorce.

At your initial fixed fee meeting with one of our experienced family lawyers, we will ask you to complete our instruction sheet. This contains most of the information we will need to deal with your application for divorce for you. You will also need to provide your original marriage certificate or an official copy of it.

The package includes providing information for you as to each step of the process and keeping you up to date as your case progresses until the Final Order is received and the divorce is complete.
