A forklift lorry reversed into our client and broke his femur. Unfortunately this didn’t heal fell and he had to undergo repeated operations and a lengthy recuperation, during which he was off work and receiving full pay. We resisted his employer’s insurer’s demands for contributory negligence of 25%, their pressure for him to return to work prematurely, and their offers, which were an under settlement of his work accident claim. We commenced court proceedings and eventually won him £100k for his injuries, his lost earnings and his handicap on the labour market should he lose his job”
