Timms Join Ashby Santa Run 2021

We are excited that this year’s Ashby Santa Run is back after the 2020 event being cancelled due to COVID-19.

The annual Ashby Santa Run takes place on Sunday 5th December this year.

The last Ashby Santa Run took place in 2019 and saw nearly 1,500 people complete the fun run, which was a near sell out and a new record for this popular event.

Over the four years of the event taking place a total of more than £40,000 has been raised, which is quite a remarkable achievement.

It is with great pleasure that we are able to sponsor such a brilliant event. And it is with even more pleasure that we get to take part too!

So, What Is The Santa Fun Run & Walk?

The event is a morning of great fun! There will be entertainment on the Bath Grounds, hot and cold refreshments and hopefully, the sight of over 1500 Santa’s on a crisp sunny winter’s morning!

The morning will start with a warmup and then the Santa’s run, jog, hop, scoot, walk their way around the 3km course.

It really is a fun morningfor all ages. And more importantly, it is a great way of helping to raise thousands of pounds for three very special local charities.

Charities For The 2021 Fun Run

The Ashby Fun Run helps to raise money for some great causes. The charities that the event will be supporting this year include Home Start, Steps and Hospice Hope.

Santa Suits

There has been one major change to the Santa Run this year, and that is that they are asking people to provide their own Christmas fancy dress rather than proving a suit as part of the entry fee.

This has been done for environmental reasons, as the organisation team have decided it is very wasteful to have these suits shipped across the globe and then placed into landfill.

Due to this change the entry fee will be reduced by £5!
