Timms Participate In Pink Day 2021 For Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK and staff from Timms were keen to participate in the annual event for another year!

Taking place on Friday 22nd October 2021 during Breast Cancer Awareness month, Timms staff are joining thousands of people across the UK to wear pink for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

If there was ever a good time to put on that pink top, proudly drape that pink feather boa around your neck, or pull up those pink socks, it’s now.

In addition to staff being able to wear pink to work for £1, Timms will also be hosting a firm-wide raffle across their offices to help raise more money for such a great charity.

The raffle prizes will consist of donations from staff so that all the money raised from the raffle will go to the charity.

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, which is dedicated to funding research into the disease. Research that is working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier, and how to treat it effectively at every stage.

2021 is the 20th year that the charity event has taken place. Collectively, since 2002, the charity has raised over £36 million.

The last pink day saw Timms raise over £200, and staff can’t wait to help raise more money to enable research to go further.
