Timms Participate In Free Wills Month 2021
We are delighted to announce that this October Timms will be taking part in Free Wills Month to help raise future incomes for specific charities such as Mind, Age UK, Guide Dogs and British Heart Foundation to name a few.
This October, Timms will once again be taking part in Free Wills Month in order to help raise future incomes for specific charities. Last year the campaign was deemed a great success with £16,739,373 raised, of that Timms raised a huge £209,950 in future income.
What Is Free Wills Month?
Free Wills Month gives members of the public who are over the age of 55 the opportunity to have a simple Will either written or updated free of charge by a participating solicitor in selected locations across England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
Having an up-to-date Will written by a solicitor is the best way to ensure that your wishes are followed up and your loved ones are cared for. Free Wills Month allows you to provide for family and friends and leave a gift to your chosen charities too if you wish.
When Does Free Wills Month Launch?
Free Wills Month launches on October 1st, 2021. However, appointments are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once all of the available appointments are booked the campaign will come to an end, so don’t forget to book in for yours as soon as possible. However, we do have other charity Wills schemes available so please do ask.
How Does The Free Wills Campaign Work?
Members of the public aged 55 and over can contact one of the firms of solicitors partaking in a Free Wills Campaign during October to request an appointment.
The solicitor will then help to draw up a Will that accurately reflects the wishes and requests of the individual or couple. Those who take part in the offer are under no obligation to leave a gift to one of the charities behind Free Wills Month, however it is hoped that many will see this as a chance to help some great causes.

The charities supporting Free Wills month work with a variety of different causes, their services are vital, and both protect and enrich the lives of millions of people every day.
Most UK charities depend on legacies for up to half their income. Therefore, by taking part in Free Wills Month you could help one, or more of these great causes.
