If you have suffered injury or illness following an accident that wasn't your fault, you could be entitled to make a claim for compensation
Our friendly and caring team of solicitors are here to help.
With years of experience, our specialist Personal Injury Solicitors will focus on achieving the best result for your circumstances.
Our solicitors are fully qualified and are members of the Association for Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
We deal expertly with several types of personal injury claims including: serious and catastrophic injuries (such as brain injury, spinal cord injuries, amputation, multiple bone fractures and disfiguring burns), accidents at work (such as slips, trips and falls and handling, lifting or carrying heavy objects), industrial disease (including asbestos related claims, hand-arm vibration syndrome and hearing loss claims), fatal accident claims, road traffic accidents, slips, trips and falls, occupier’s liability, public liability, product liability, animal bites and attacks, beauty and laser treatments, and medical negligence claims.
No Win, No Fee
We will assess whether your claim has reasonable prospects of success in our initial free interview. If we consider that there are reasonable prospects of success, then we will deal with your claim on a no win no fee basis. This means that we will only charge you if your claim is successful. We will not charge you for our work if you lose your claim. The success fee is calculated at a percentage of our basic charges but capped at 25% of the damages recovered. The success fee is deducted at the conclusion of your claim. If necessary, we will instruct a barrister who is also prepared to work on a no win no fee basis.
We will fund your disbursements during the case which include the cost of medical reports and other experts and court fees.
If your claim is successful, you will be able to recover the cost of your disbursements from your opponent.
If your claim fails, you remain responsible for your own disbursements. However, we will arrange ‘after the event’ (ATE) insurance for you to cover your own disbursements and your opponents’ costs, just in case you lose your claim.
The after the event insurance premium is self-insured so that if you lose your claim, you will not have to pay the premium.
If you win, then the payment of the ATE insurance will be deferred until the end of your claim and will be deducted from your damages.
