The department’s current hourly rates are:

| Solicitors/FILEX 4yrs + | £220.00 plus VAT (£264.00) |
| Solicitors/FILEX/ Other | £200.00 plus VAT (£240.00) |
| Trainees/Paralegals/Other | £150.00 plus VAT (£180.00) |
Disbursements
Our charges quoted above do not include any disbursements that may be incurred in connection with your matter. Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees, and may include:

| Trustee Act Notice (Local Paper) | Up to £120.00 plus VAT |
| Identity & Insolvency Check | £7.00 plus VAT beneficiary |
| Overseas Bankruptcy Search | Price varies |
| Share Valuation | £6.00 plus VAT per valuation |
| Vehicle Valuation | £10.00 plus VAT |
| Unoccupied Property Insurance | Price varies |
| Property Valuation Fee | Up to £400.00 plus VAT |
As your instruction progresses it may be necessary for other disbursements in addition to the above to be paid. We will advise you of the position as soon as we are able to. If we are holding funds on your behalf, then we will handle the payment of the disbursements from those funds to ensure a smoother process. If we are not holding funds on your behalf, then we will ask you to let us have payment to cover these.
