The Association of Lifetime Lawyers

At Timms we have four fully Accredited Members of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, but what does this mean? Wills & Probate Solicitor, Megan Lovell, explains in her latest blog…

Who are Lifetime Lawyers?

The Association of Lifetime Lawyers is a community of specialist legal professionals who support vulnerable and older people with the right legal advice. Accredited Members are fully qualified and regulated Lawyers with a minimum of three years’ experience in advising older and vulnerable clients.

The Association has recently rebranded and was previously known as Solicitors for the Elderly.

What advice can a Lifetime Lawyer provide?

All Accredited Members can advise on the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Probate, Tax Planning and Trusts.

Members have an in-depth knowledge of these areas and can provide support and advice to ensure that the older client has in place everything they may require to make life easier for themselves and their loved ones moving forward.

Why should I use a specialist Lifetime Lawyer?

All Accredited Members are specifically trained to be able to look after the interests of older and vulnerable clients. Not only do Lifetime Lawyers have specialist legal knowledge, they also provide a level of client care specifically aimed at making sure the older client is put at ease when dealing with complex legal issues and that they receive holistic legal advice in a way that is understandable and appropriate to their needs and in the client’s best interests.

How Can Timms Help?

Our aim is to ensure that clients making an appointment, regarding the specialist areas above, will leave feeling that we understand their needs and will feel more at ease planning for the future.
