Timms Solicitors Support Dementia Friends
We are proud to be part of the Alzheimer Society‘s initiative and regularly run free Dementia Friends Information Sessions….
If you’ve not encountered Dementia Friends before it’s a completely free presentation given by a Dementia Friends Champion which lasts 45/60 minutes.
What is Dementia Friends?
The Dementia Friends Champion explains what Dementia actually is, how it affects each person differently, and how small actions can help someone who is living with Dementia. The Dementia Friends Sessions are very informative and we’ve found that often those taking part take the opportunity to share their own experiences leading to a wider conversation about caring for someone who is living with Dementia.
Within our business, we have seven Dementia Champions who regularly run sessions for clubs, groups or businesses throughout Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and North Leicestershire. If you would like to know more, please contact Jo Robinson on 01332 364436 or at email@example.com.
