The annual show brings together the best in all things agricultural from prize-winning cattle to a fabulous food fayre.

2023 marked the show’s 107th year. There was an exciting main ring programme, together with the usual fantastic shopping opportunities and an extensive range of show classes.

Timms marquee was, once again, located perfectly, right on the edge of the main arena where partners and staff from the firm were on hand to answer any questions and to hand out a much needed Pimm’s & Lemonade, have a good chat, and share their knowledge.

In addition to the fruity beverage, and amidst the stunning flower arrangement by Selena’s Contemporary Flowers, visitors to the stand were encouraged to enter a free prize draw, collect some eco-friendly freebies and have a go on our tombola which raised over £75 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

The History of the Ashby Show

Ashby Show first started in 1904 at the Bath Grounds at Ashby de la Zouch, behind the Royal Hotel. There was a break during some of the First & Second World War years when the Ashby Show was not held.

As it grew in size it moved to the beautiful site at Calke Park and when it again got too big it moved to Measham Lodge Farm.

After a very successful and popular move, Ashby Show is now held at Cattows Farm, Coalville.
