Lisa joined Timms in February 2016 and has over 14 years experience in Residential Conveyancing.

After graduating with a Honours degree in Law from Lancaster University in 1997, Lisa worked full time whilst completing a legal practice course by open learning, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004. Lisa became a Partner in March 2018.

Lisa deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, complex property transactions and also small/ medium developments having acted for a number of small developers.

As Head of Residential Property, Lisa manages the team across all four offices. She is currently based in Derby but is happy to see clients at any of the four Timms offices.

Lisa is committed to providing excellent customer service, providing straight forward legal advice and to helping her clients achieve their desired outcome. Lisa is looking forward to building long lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts in the East Midlands area.

Emma was admitted as a Solicitor in 2009 and joined Timms in June 2020.

Emma has specialised in employment law throughout her career and has worked within both the private sector and as an in-house solicitor acting for several regional Police Forces.

Emma acts for employers and employees on all aspects of employment law and she also supports the commercial team in relation to the employment aspects of business transfers.

Emma strives to reach the best results for her clients and has a particular expertise in relation to discrimination claims.

When not at work, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. Emma is a keen skier and when her boys allow, she also enjoys running, HIIT classes, reading and the occasional glass of gin.
