Timms continually support various charities through fundraising events
Each year, members of our team spend time raising money for various organisations and charities that help those in need. Below are some recent examples of the good work team Timms have completed:
‘Save the Children’ Christmas Jumper Day 2023
Every year Timms take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper appeal.
Christmas Jumper Day has raised over £30 million for children in the UK and around the world since it began in 2012!
Last year Timms staff member raised £65.
This year ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ is the 12th December 2024.
Macmillan Coffee Morning 2024
Macmillan Coffee Morning is held on the last Friday of September every year and it is a national event to raise money to support people living with cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support is 98% funded by voluntary donations and is a charity many of our team are close to.
Across all four of our offices, team Timms raised an incredible £200 for Macmillan Coffee Morning in September 2024.
Big Bake Bonanza 2024
Many of our team are ‘Dementia Friends’ so supporting The Alzheimer’s Society with their ‘Big Bake Bonanza‘ is something Timms look forward to annually.
The Alzheimer’s Society are a charity that work with all those effected by dementia by providing support and care to those that are in need.
This year Timms raised £35 with our bake sale.
Derby Food 4 Thought
Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance is a charity we continually support through various parts of the year.
Our most recent donation was a collection for the charity’s urgent plea.
During the Easter period the firm donate a number of Easter eggs to the charity for families that are unable to afford the luxury.
Timms Charity Christmas Cards 2023
Annually we raise money for the firm’s chosen charity. Instead of buying Christmas cards, we instead raise money for charity.
In 2023, our team decided to raise money for Crisis. Since 1967 the Crisis at Christmas charity appeal has been supporting those of us experiencing homelessness at Christmas.
We raised an amazing £215 across the firm.
