Timms Solicitors Expand The Swadlincote Wills And Probate Team

Swadlincote Wills and Probate team

Timms Solicitors have recently expanded their team by appointing a third Wills and Probate Solicitor at their Swadlincote office.

Megan Lovell joins Keith Baldock-Grimes and Anna-Louise Bradley at the law firm on Market Street, Swadlincote. The team of three have over 40 combined years’ experience in Private Client work and are well renowned for their caring and professional approach.

They are supported by a further four members of the Wills and Probate team at the Swadlincote office.

Drafting Wills and Lasting Power Of Attorney

Each year the Wills and Probate team draft hundreds of Wills giving clients peace of mind that their affairs are in order when they pass away. The team use their knowledge and skills to prepare bespoke Wills that accurately reflect each clients wishes. They are also particularly skilled in preparing Wills to minimise inheritance tax and Wills to protect assets from the effect of long-term care or re-marriage.

The Wills and Probate team also draft hundreds of Power of Attorney enabling clients to appoint a representative to make decisions for them in relation to property and finances and health and welfare in the event that they become unable to make decisions themselves. The need for a Power of Attorney was particularly apparent during the pandemic when many vulnerable clients were forced to self-isolate.

For those who have not made a Power of Attorney, the Wills and Probate team are able to assist your loved ones with a Court of Protection application for a Deputyship Order. This can often be a long and difficult process, but our team are on hand to support throughout.

Administration Of Estates

The team are particularly supportive following the death of a loved one and are on hand to offer practical yet sympathetic advice.

They can assist with as much or as little of the estate administration process that is required and are experienced in dealing with complexities which can often arise.

Megan, Keith and Anna-Louise all share Timms passion for providing outstanding levels of client care in a warm, friendly and approachable manner and are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
