How Can I Help?
I am a family law Solicitor at Timms Solicitors, specialising in childcare and mainly dealing with cases from our Swadlincote office.
As a Solicitor, I have many years of experience representing clients who have social care involvement with their families, from child protection level through to the issuing of care proceedings.
I pride myself in my friendly and approachable manner and seek to support clients in what is usually the most testing period of their lives.
My Experience
I have worked within the legal sector since I graduated from university in the summer of 2013. The majority of that time has been spent working exclusively within childcare, firstly as a childcare paralegal before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2020.
Once I qualified as a Solicitor, I spent one year practicing in criminal law, where I became a fully accredited Police Station Representative and spent time representing clients in Magistrates Courts and Police Stations across the East Midlands.
However, in the summer of 2021, I moved back to doing childcare work, as it is what I am hugely passionate about.
How Long Have I Been Part Of The Team?
I joined the family team at Timms in June 2021 and have been working in the family team ever since.

A fun fact about me is that I have double jointed fingers and shoulders!
