Natasha is a Senior Associate Solicitor who specialises in all aspects of Personal Injury law.

She has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) since 2010 and has achieved Senior Litigator Accreditation status.

Natasha advises and supports clients who have suffered life changing injuries including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputations, multiple fractures and industrial illness.

She is sensitive and supportive in her approach and provides practical advice to her clients who are going through a very difficult time in their lives.

She encourages early rehabilitation interventions for her clients to ensure they are given the best chance of recovery and to help them regain their independence as soon as possible.

Natasha has recently secured a seven-figure settlement in a joint settlement meeting for a client who suffered a traumatic brain Injury as a passenger in a road traffic accident.

Her other recent notable cases include:

* Motorcycle accident which resulted in full arm amputation and traumatic brain injury.
* Accident at work where the Claimant was unable to return to work due to severe fractures to the leg.
* Chemical inhalation at work causing long-term respiratory problems.
* Claim on behalf of the deceased who suffered asbestos related disease.
* Vibration white finger claim which was robustly defended but successfully settled days before it was due to be heard at trial.

Mainly based in the Derby office, Natasha covers all the Midlands area and beyond.

Outside of work Natasha loves to spend time with her friends and family particularly when it involves eating delicious food and trying out new restaurants.

She also enjoys attending dance classes.

David has been practising as a medical malpractice lawyer for over 20 years.

David works on predominantly high value cases and is a member of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Panel and is therefore accredited by them to pursue medical negligence compensation.

David strives to provide clients with a bespoke, personal service, dealing with cases personally throughout, ensuring claims are dealt with speedily and efficiently from start to finish.

David lives locally and is married with three children. In his spare time David is also interested in news and current affairs, history and enjoys attending the gym.

Alicia has been conducting Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims for the past 23 years. She initially qualified as a FILEX in November 2005 before then qualifying as a Solicitor in October 2009. Alicia acts exclusively on behalf of Claimants and has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) for many years.

Dealing with a wide range of cases, Alicia specialises in complex and high value matters. Her passion is helping those injured because of avoidable clinical negligence and fighting to obtain the compensation they deserve. She also conducts Personal Injury cases arising due to Road Traffic Collisions, Accidents at Work and Occupiers and Public Liability.
Whilst predominantly now dealing with complex and high value cases, Alicia continues to work with all clients to ensure they have the benefit of her expertise and knowledge. She has extensive experience of pursuing cases from initial instructions through to trial. Alicia deals with cases with compassion from the outset whilst at the same time providing practical advice as she understands the difficulties such injuries cause to her clients and their loved ones.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter as well as socialising with her friends. She enjoys long walks in the countryside, reading, watching her favourite TV shows, and attending music concerts.

Haley joined the Personal Injury team as a Paralegal in January 2020 and is currently completing her CILEx qualifications.

Haley worked in Civil Litigation including Personal Injury and Debt Recovery for 3 years prior to joining Timms.

Based at our Derby office, she works closely with Natasha Burnett and assists her in representing claimants from pre-action to final hearings.

She works on a variety of personal injury matters but her main experience is in Employer’s Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accidents.

Haley is approachable and empathetic to clients. She works hard to ensure that the legal process is as straightforward and stress free for them as much as possible.

She is a proud member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Outside of work, Haley enjoys baking, dining out and spending time with family.
