Solicitors for the Elderly: Matt Kelly Becomes a Full Member

Solicitors for the elderly member Matt Kelly

Timms Wills & Probate Solicitor, Matt Kelly, has recently become a full accredited member of the organisation ‘Solicitors for the Elderly’.

Matt joins Jo Robinson, Head of the Wills & Probate team to be a fully accredited ‘Solicitors for the Elderly’ member. Keith Baldock-Grimes and Sara Hilliard are also associate members.

Solicitors for the Elderly are an independent national organisation of Lawyers, Solicitors, Barristers and Chartered Legal Executives who provide specialist advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. To obtain full accreditation, members have to gain significant experience in this field and undertake a unique qualification which focuses on additional skills to enable them to work with older people.

Jo comments “Membership of Solicitors for the Elderly is particularly important to us as it demonstrates our commitment to our elderly clients and gives them peace of mind that the legal advice that they receive will be high quality, accurate and relevant. Matt and Charlotte are also members of STEP, an organisation that outlines Will standards and five members of the team are also Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Champions”.

The experienced team cover the following areas of law: Making a Will, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Tax Planning, Asset Preservation, Trusts, Probate, Paying for Care, NHS Continuing Care Funding, Will Disputes, Court of Protection and Elder Abuse.
