Timms Solicitors Continue Support For Grassroots Girls Football
Timms Solicitors have pledged their further support for local women’s football which is set to flourish even further following the Lioness’s success in the European Championships…
Timms, which celebrates its 130th anniversary this year, have sponsored Duffield Dynamo’s girls’ football club for the past five years and have re-committed support for both the under-15 and under-12 again for the coming season.
Managing Partner Fiona Moffat said: “As a long-established firm in this area, we are always keen to support the local communities that we serve around Derby, Burton, Ashby and Swadlincote.
“Duffield Dynamos do a fantastic job in enabling children and young people to reap all the benefits of team sports and we were particularly keen to support the growing girls section.
“The incredible skill, passion and commitment shown by the England women’s team in the Euros this summer will, I hope, inspire many other girls and women of all ages to take up football and I hope that other businesses with follow suit and provide much-needed sponsorship to enable wider participation in the sport.
“We wish all the teams at Duffield Dynamos success this season – particularly the two girls’ teams who sport our sponsored shirts week in, week out.”
Duffield Dynamos U-15 Manager Robert Jeffery added: “As a Football Association Charter Standard Club we are proud to have a thriving girls section as part of our 400-strong club.
“Women’s football is one of the fastest growing sports not just in the UK but across the world. It is therefore vital that clubs such as ours provide as many opportunities as we can for girls at grassroots level to introduce and develop players to the sport.
